Sorry for the delay on getting these photos up on our site - but it's been quite a busy spring. Had the incredible opportunity to go hunting again with Gary Howey from Outdoorsmen Adventures. This time we headed to the Winner area in South Dakota for Spring Turkey Hunting.
Our hosts were Steve and Donna Kubik, owners of Antler Ridge Lodge. The accomodations were spectacular and the food was even better. Donna is a top notch chef!! Here's the turkey I shot on day number two of the hunt. We didn't have a scale, but estimated that this was a 3-year old Tom weighing almost 24 pounds. A nice trophy!
Here's Outdoorsmen Adventures host and producer Gary Howey with his quarry from day number one. Gary tipped these two Tom's over with one shot! We estimated that they weighed 22-23 pounds each.
